A brief post on the Silat Competition that went on a few weeks back The one I was talking about in my previous post.

Kejohanan Pencak Silat 2012, the event was as grand as the name was. Albeit the whole competition tonnes of up's and down's went on throughout this whole event. Some were memories to cherish, like bein in the same room as Ajan , Jannah , Ijah and the others. Some I just regret having like those fights we had. A few days before the event started, we were all living the life in our dorm's. Turun subuh sesuka hati, waking up at 8 . We felt free. As we were a part of the so-called media crew our work doesnt start till the event so most of the time, Azarith ama and I looked for work to do. The night before everything started was probably one of the bestnights I had. As we were helping teacher Ju label out all the paper's for the Wasit (judges) we all decided to Print out our own name tags with our kewl nicknames. And not only that, obviously we were being our immature selfs and played bumper cars using the roller chairs HAHAHAHAHA crackheads we were. Things like this lah I will forever cherish :')

The first day of Silat went pretty well, all 40 MRSM's with 10-15 representative each came to our school. There were many eye candy ones too ehek ehek ehek . The competition started that night which meant I started work already. Im usually on Camera duty so as usual with my Baby D I took pictures of every single competition that went on. EVERYTHING ENDED AT FRINGGIN 3 AM IN THE MORNING . YES, I AM NOT KIDDING THE COMPETITION ENDED AT 3 ! and we had to wake up at 7 the next day. That was prolly my routine for the next 4 days .

But what made Silat so special, was the people I spent it with. Everyone was giving full support to our Silat team. Everytime each of them had to compete semua kerumun satu gelanggang. Cheers jangan cakap laa ! We were so loud the Wasit got annoyed ! we brought out the kompang's from the music rooom just to support our siat team. Cheering on for Biha, Qayyum and the others was truly an enjoyable moment :')

Sadly, our college got 8th place with a few silvers and bronze but hey, atleast we were in the top 10 . Congrats to the other colleges . Pencak Silat was truly an enjoyable moment . I enjoyed every single minute of it, all the rushing , all the fights, all the recording, everything.
